I'have a PC and my friend a MAC ... we do it with no problems.
Just connect the midi out of the master machine midi interface to the midi in of the slave machine midi interface.
Now open LIVE and:
1) On the master, select preferences/midi and check the "sync out" box.
2) On the slave, select preferences/midi and check the "sync in" box.
3) On the slave, machine select EXT (top left, near the metronome box).
Now you can check if there's any delay by turning the metronome on on both machines and listening carefully. In case use the midi delay box to apply any due correction.
