Warning: Monkey Paraphrase coming...

I remember reading a historical story about a bunch of scientists looking around Yellowstone trying to find the actual mouth of the volcano and then suddenly realising that the whole FUKKIN' place is one huge volcano.

Super Volcano indeed.

And it will blow. Eventually. When? Could be tomorrow, could be hundreds/thousands of years but supposedly there's some pattern they've uncovered and in geological terms it's getting pretty ripe.

Meh, I'll take my chances. Things are exciting here on the edge of catastrophe, plus I love soaking in hot springs. :D

I loved aspects of Portland, while I lived there for 22 years. But the continual cloud cover and the toll, seasonal depression took on me every year, were enough to chase me back to the desert.

If SF goes, I'm going with her, couldn't live without it.

If Texas goes, I hope not to go with it, at least not until I attend the afterparty!

Screw quakes. The reason to stay clear of Seattle and the PNW is their complete lack of appreciating sarcasm. Seriously. It's freaky.
