Ableton Forum

Hey everyone, I'm trying to sort this issue out.

I have a Duo Core, 2 gig ram laptop. Pretty souped, but when I connect my Remote SL and am playing the tunes, ableton seizes up for a second or two, the sound keeps playing, and I can even still control it, only the screen freezes similar to a drop in Frame Rate. This is all at 10% load.

Anyone know what maybe the cause of this and a fix might be?

Solved.

In my midi preferences I had Output on Remote Port 1 selected for both track and sync. Guess that was conflicting with stuff.

I also tried a pci latency tool for some reason I thought it helped, but that could be my imagination.

Regardless if someone has a link to a tips page on that, I hear its extremely helpful.
