Multi Tracking in LIVE 3.0

Greetings!
Is LIVE 3.0 able to multi track? Meaning, can I record into another track while I monitor the data from the first track, and NOT have the first track's data record into the second and so on?
I appreciate any help with this!
Peace

Yes.
You don't say if you are attempting this or if you are just asking the question but if you do have a copy of Live:
Set the preferences 'Monitor Through Live' to yes.
When recording to your track of choice ensure the monitor switch is set on (the one that goes orange when selected).
This should let you hear what you are recording along with the playback of your other tracks. You might have to kill the speakers (sinceyou will get feedback ) and don a set of 'cans'

hey i'm new on this too.
bought m-audio usb that comes with Live 3 (special pack- limited to 10tracks)
yeah, it multi tracks. I found I had to first select Live In (not Master)..
then below "send only" not Mater to prevent echoing effect.
i'm a newbie to computer recording. so far the m-audio interface hooked up quickly.
the Live software, is now recording- 10 seperate tracks..with playback , overdub.
my first attempt is just speaking thru a mic..Track 1 thru Track 10...
left and right pan.
but now i can't figure out how to Save and Burn to a CDR!!
there's a great demo that actually shows the config, via a visual-tutor on the M-Audio page under ABleton...
