6.03: MIDI Note Sticking -- how to send "all Note Off"?

Hi,

I have a client that is running a MIDI light rig by triggering MIDI clips in Live 6

He is getting a stuck MIDI note (similar to the NI stuck MIDI note bug?) .. the note keep triggering to the rig.

That is the bug report - all i know so far - ask for details if you need them .. i will get them

Also:

Related -- we are looking for a way to send out an "All NOTES OFF" MIDI command, for all notes on the MIDI port (all 16 channels)

If we can get a MIDI clip to do this, so much the better as it is an efficent temporary solution to the problem

Anybody think of a way?

All notes off is actually a continuous controller. Its CC number 123 so you should be able to program this into a midiclip. I haven't tried it though.

Thanks .. I dont have anything to test this on at the moment

If I set the dropdown in the clip to CC33 - leave the clip blank of notes - and route this channel to the proper port this might clear the port?

Anyone know the answer much appreciated
