On this short clip I just saw notice that he can drag the wave cliped out part directly from the song. If in live 7 They add some new devices maybe there will be a new box in side of a (exsample): Saturator and edit the Waved clip from there and then put that into simpler. And have the effected soundclip in side of Simpler All redy with an effect instead of recording and turing it into a wave file! AWSOME!

so you want to put something that isn't a recorded wave into a thing that basically only uses recorded waves.... how is this different to running saturator after simpler with the orignal wave inside it exactly?

I think he's stoked on bouncing and mangling audio in general. Got any tips how he could take it further?
Try this -
Hit midi learn, click an audio clip, hold down a keyboard note, hit another key a few octaves up. Turn off midi learn and play. I love that one, pitched samples across the keyboard, simple.

this also works for midi clips, it transposes your midi clip which can be realy handy for instruments or even drums as if you transpose something then your pattern won't hit the same drum sounds anymore.

no thats not what I am saying. ok I will break it down for you.
You have a midifiles with some effects added to it and it sounds realy cool but you dont have the space to make that into a wave file.
What if you could drag all the files along with effects into a simpler drumkit box and play the sound with all of its effects in the box. In stead of having the effects around the instrument effecting the whole drumkit. So you would have effects for each note played in the simpler box.

I guess most of the rest of us do have the space to make wavs.
