ok i know this feature has been disbled because some users have edited the original samples without knowing that the changes on the samples were permanent.

but

would it be possible to add in the options the possibility to hide this control for those who dont want it?

in other words, it could be hidden by default. those who want to use this control could activate it in the options menu.

working without it is very unconfortable for me, and lots of other users.

thanks

a.

It hasn't been disabled, it has been moved to the file management window. A very unpopular move.

Seriously, if the Edit button actually opens another editing application, how can anyone not know changes are being made to the sample file itself?

I'd say run a poll among users. How many want the Edit button? How many are happy with it hidden in some obsucre submenu?

Understatement! It's a pain in the arse!
