Live Kills Logic's ReWire !

Even if Live is not running, if Live exists in the computer,
Logic+Reason = no audio! Midi i/o and play/stop work properly, but no audio comes into logic's mixer. again even if Live is not running.
We uninstalled Live, and trashed everything named 'ableton' from our system and... viola' --> Logic+Reason = back to normal.
This was the DEMO version of Live.
Live is so great but there's no way i can buy it under these circumstances. (especially since it costs as much as Logic and Cubase).
see you when version 7 comes out!
peace.

Live does NOT destroy Logic's Rewire. You're obviously using an older version of Logic, in which you need to select the second set of Rewire channels for Reason. Logic reads Rewire slaves in alphabetical order, so the first set of Rewire channels belong to Live, the second set to Reason. By installing Live you've pushed Reason to second place in your Rewire listing.
You should probably upgrade to Logic 7.2, where the Rewire devices are listed by name.

Same for GarageBand.

See my response above. Same thing applies.

Hey,
Try the fix below, it worked for me and I have 7.1.1 and Reason 3.0 along with Live 5.0. Gave me a bit of a scare, but the fix worked just fine.
peace,

I remember a weird thing about Rewire/Reason a few years back, a bug that might still be around to cause a lot of initial setup hassle. I ´m just taking it from my memory so please excuse any wrong names or terms I´m using. There are TWO sets of outputs with the same names, Rewire out L and Rewire out R (or was it Reason L and Reason R? I´ll check it out soon!). One of the pairs, the ones you see first didn´t work for me. I had to scroll down to find the other pair of outs. Hope this gets you anywhere.
