cant get multi core working with pentium d and live 6

hey everyone. when i installed live 6 on my pentium d, only one processor is being used.

if i go to the task manager and set affinity, by default only 1 core is enabled.

the option for "multicpu support" on live is grayed out and it wont let me turn it on.

if i enable the second core in "set affinity" it makes no difference. and if i close and reopen live there is still no change.

has anyone else had this problem?

can anyone confirm for me if live can utilise the second core in a pentium D?

I can use both cores in my laptop core 2 duo, but not on my pentium d desktop. I just did a clean windows install and installed live again, but the multi core option wont come up.
