Ableton Forum

Can anyone from this funked up community of ours suggest a laptop to plump for? I've started to play out on Traktor & use Ableton constantly via my Sony Vaio A Series notebook.
It's a nifty machine & of course can be upgraded, but its screen res is below standard now & the new Dells, Alienwares etc are leaving it behind in many other aspects.
I travel a lot & also want to use it to replace my desktop when at home.

Any offers?

I have an acer travelmate with 15.4 inch screen and 2ghz centrino doobrey wotsit. Performs really well. I have 2 partitions on it, one for general everyday apps like word, visual studio etc and a 2nd partition with a stripped down version of xp specifically for audio.
