If you buy the TI, you get the TI Vst with it
or look at a powercore virus...

You could also look at White Noise's Zero Vector, which was cloned after the Virus B. It can't exactly import Virus patches, but the sounds are pretty similar and phat.
There is a powercore version

But,
the arp sync don't work and it crashes ableton 6 all the time
Apart from that it's very good however.
there's also the VST / Hardware thing that they do. .

Nup, the TI OS 2.0.2 works like a dream with 6!

Hi
The z3ta is known as a challenger for the virus C. otherwise last NI synthesizer massive is quite interesting too.
Finally it depends on which type of sound you want to make. it's like using a virtual analog hardware synthesizer to emulate a analog one, some sounds will be great , but you won't be able to fake other sounds.

I am trying to get that Gary numanm depeche mode, NIN sound
nothing is fat enough, I know they all use the access virus, but I try to keep my hardware minimized

Try Massive and Zebra2

A lot of the hardcore Virus users have slowly been popping up on the Zebra2 forums. That's all I have to say.

Gary numanm depeche mode Ehh...?
Go with U-He diva. I own a Virus C and Diva is more authentic for this kind of vibe IMO. If you can't get Diva to sound fat enough you can rest assured that it's your programming that needs work and not the synthesizer!
Quick tip. Open up the synth, max out voices, layer the unison, and mess with the maximum detune about 30%. Typically 4 voices with a 30% detune sounds GREAT with saws and gets that huge analog sound.

Diva sounds great but it is still not analog and will never be. If you want analog then buy analog. These are my findings so far.
The Virus is fun and sounds cool, I have a TI2 myself. If you want the Virus sound then buy a Virus. Emulations will always stay
in the shadow of the original, that`s a fact.

^ umm, just making clear that the Virus is not an analog synth.

I think the op has probably found a suitable synth by this time.

No he hasn't!
(sorry, I couldn't help but be contrarian, even if it wasn't helpful.)
