Converting Midi to Audio in 5.2.2

I am trying to convert a midi track to a Audio track but have problems in 5.2.2. I the audio track to record the Midi but it does not sound the same ? Has a Phasing effect almost ? what is the best way to do this and have it turn out just like the midi sound ?
