What is the best VJ software, is there an industry standard?

If not, recommend any software PC or Mac, doesn't matter can use both.

There is no standard.
I prefer Arkaos VJ, as it interfaces brilliantly with Live, and makes it easy to perform AV sets. As a musician, the music keyboard/synth analogy makes sense to me.

i would say thsre is no standard.. but Resolume is probably used most. I much prefer Modul8 however as its really almost a musical instrument in how much creative control you get, and runs really fast on modern Macs, due to using the GPU.

I've found VJamm to have the tightest AV triggering in the PC market currently. Arkaos seems the standard to me....and the most developed. I did not find its AV triggering to be acceptably tight though...
