file problem

hey guys i have a problem. all my projects done in
ableton live is in als format. i cant seems to change the format
to mp3 format. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!

Yeah, this is a funny one... well... a .als file is an ableton file that holds info on a set and directory paths to samples and the sort. You need to bounce your track down to one track (A few different ways to do this inside Live...). This will be recorded at whatever you have it set to inside prefrences, you then take your .wav or .aif file Which is now a sound file and put it in Itunes or the like and convert it to mp3 or ogg.
I wish someone would come school me like a noob on my problem....
