conversion problem

Hi

I cannot convert wav files rendered by ableton 6 to mp3. Conversion software simply says it does not support that type of file and ignores it. Am I doing something wrong while rendering? I tried different settings of bit depth and sample rates but none of them seems to work. Any suggestions?

Hello,

What sample rate and bit depth are you using? You should try using 44100 and 16 bits. Also, which converter are you using?

Well I tried that setting too. Wham, Jodix and freeripmp3 do not recognize the file format. Wham also accepts aiff but same problem again. Anything you can recommend?

Thanks

Hi,

Can you read the files with Windows Media Player for example? I've been successfull using Razorlame, which is free and uses the Lame encoder, that's on PC. Try it, it should work.

Do you enable any other setting in the Render dialog?

Thank you very much. Success with Razorlame. think the other software was the problem.
