How do I activate my free version of Live 6

I purchased Live 5 between June and October of last year and they told me I would get a free upgrade to 6. I downloaded 6, entered my 5 code and it doesn't work. Do I need a new code for 6 and where do I find this? Thanks.

Log in to the Ableton Shop to buy a license for version 6. You'll be charged 0$.

Hi,
If you are eligible for a free upgrade, and that you are logged in to your account on the website, and looking at the upgrade page, you should see the offer for the free upgrade.
if it is not the case, and think you are eligible, write to
[email protected] including your serial number, and they'll look at the date of your first Live 5 unlock.

Make sure you're looking at the download version and not the boxed version -- the boxed version has EIC which is not part of the free upgrade. (And I think that's what it costs.)
