Ableton Forum

Its been driving me crazy but,

When im running ableton, and i forget to turn on my midi, I always have to restart my ableton to get it to work, or while im on a project, and i turn off the midi i gotta restart...

IS there an easier way?

True, that happens on the PC only, and this is not easy to solve, as it is the Operating system way of dealing with devices that forces that behaviour. It is not a 'bug' but a techncal difficulty.
