I'm trying not to end up that way!

why is it that everytime I open a particular .als half of the tracks are disabled, and most of the effect on them too? And why is it that when I re-enable the parts, a little red dot appears, and the "Back to Arrangement"light illuminates? is there anyway to make the current state the propper arrangement? Such that in the future when I open the .als it is correct?

also, is it possible to select, say 4 measures and "reverse all the samples in that section? The following link leads to a track made using Live 3.0.1 and Cubase SX2.0 Rather than Rewire-ing live through Cubase the live bed was imported. In Cubase i reversed a portion of the bed: 1:48-1:51 this is what I'd like to do in Live itself! Anyone know a way? Could ya hook a brotha up?

Sounds to me like you have some automation happening by mistake.

Open up each track in the Arrangement window and look for breakpoints.You will have to check each option in each track.For example select Mixer option and then check each sub-option like Speaker On, track volume, pan etc etc

I have noticed that after major editing like cut and paste of tracks that breakpoints are sometimes created which then turn effects and tracks on/off like you describe.

When you have found and removed all the unwanted breakpoints then save your Live Set.

I've just had a listen to Superfad and I think its way cool Tallisman

Thats a very refreshing approach to the genre...the scratching is very cool too.....sounds like birds and with that great guitar loop the end result is very light and relaxing for me.

Nice work.

PS:After another listen I would mix the vocals up a tad, maybe 2db, but thats me.

As for your comments about "Superfad" -- I am glad you like it. I felt a grand sense of insecurity when I posted this share... it's odd and I'm not killin' the mic with some ultra-complex flow.

I'll let you know if that fix works.

Any Ideas on wether or not it is possible to select a region, say: measure 14.4.0-16.0.0 and reverse all the samples?
wouldne it be great if you could split the audio, make it into an 'Event' and then drag the handles such the the end and start handles occupy eachother's spot, for reversed audio?

Tallisman, I'm not aware of any way to reverse clips.

It would be a nice addition to Live.

If I wanted to do what you did in Superfad and keep it all in Live I would make a copy of the section you want to reverse and then reverse it in your standalone audio editor like Soundforge or Wavelab or whatever.

Then place the reversed files into the Live arrangement where you want them.

You rock... the fix worked.
as for the revers... the easiest way was to just render the section to track in cubase and reverse it there... rewire the rest.
I tried the Wavelab idea, but it didn't work as well.

One bummer I found... when exporting the song with the Bed ReWired... everythign but "realtime export"produced errors!?

well, this represents my first experiments with live...
I am happy with that.
