Off button for Impulse's envelope, please!

I really don't like the 10.0 second envelope that is applied to my ride and crash cymbals (it's quite noticeable on any drum sample longer than 4 seconds, actually.)
And yes, I know: racks.
I'm going to start using racks with a Simpler in place of some of Impulse's sample slots as a workaround (that should fix my problem in theory), but I wish I didn't have to do that.
Why not have an "Active" button for the envelope generator? (per slot, of course) Just like Operator's osc and pitch sections -- Impulse's enevlope control would be grey-ed out when not active and the sample would simply play from start to finish. (like a true "one shot" playback mode should)
