Hi, if your have bought the X-Session pro midi dj mixer in the past you can now doanload Torq LE dj software free of charge, all you've got to do is register your product and then you can download it free of charge

That is great, I have the x-session pro and would like to use it as a DJ with my mac book pro. I have plenty of cds already loaded.
Do you know if I can run Torq LE from an external HD? I dont have enough space in my mac.
Do you know the x-session pro will work with LIVE.
When I connect it to LIVE, and try to use LIVE 6, I cannot make it move a thing.

Not too sure if you can run Torq from an external hard drive,can't see any reason why not.
i have no probs using my expression pro with live, are you sure you've midi mapped it correctly?

Does the midi signal indicater light flash when you turn a knob or move a slider on the X-session? it's in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Yes, the little light in LIVE 6 flashes when I move something in my x-session pro. but I cant make LIVE's crossfader move when I move the x-session' crossfader.
I think I am missing something.

Good, now it works. the problem is that when I move the fader to the right, LIVE goes to the left

invert the range then.

I right click and try to invert it, but it does not do it.
track sync and remote are all ON
is this the way it sou posed to be?

when i 1st started using my Xsession the crossfader also went the wrong way, what you need to is when hover the mouse over the cross fader in Live to midi map it it shows up 1/17 but if you move it very slightly it will show another number 1/20 if i recall correctly. one of these numbers inverts the crossfader and one is the normal setting. it took me ages to figure this out
