Very strange envelope problem

Hey guys,
Recently I ran into a problem I've never had before with Ableton. I can't get it to go away, and nothing was altered on the computer that made it (no new version installation, no new plugins etc), I just noticed it one day.
My clip envelopes are not in sync with the track. To make sure my ears werent lying to me, I put down a 4x4 kick drum, then i put a string by its side, and ran mixer volume envelope automation to get the side chain effect on it. This way, I clearly hear the envelope cutting the volume ahead of the beat even though its drawn correctly. And this really sucks because I can't make any music at the moment and yet, I have no idea what to do about it, the only thing that makes it align is to press the EXT-button, but that's not the solution to the problem. It's kind of hard to describe, so here's two screen shots, one showing the volume automation of the pad, the second is a close up in soundforge, which shows the offset of the envelope. For bonus, also the export of it where you can hear the envelope going off to early.

Anyone have any idea what so ever? And by the way, this is not only mixer volume automation, it's the same on whatever envelope I want to alter. My only last exit now would be a re-install, and you really really don't wanna do that if you don't have it.
