Anyway to get proper stereo channels? I know you can use buses - but logic is the only old style German app left - which has a limited number of buses. (PT never had that, DP and Studio Vision also not and even Steinberg's apps have changed that by now).

Hope logic 6.5 will change that - SOON.

Well... I won't give all the details.. (check the SonikMatters forum) but one needs to set up it all up 1st in the Environment... make the mono Rewire in channels go to a Bus object and then to an Aux Object so you can have stereo ReWire channels on a fadder on the mixer (with a fx send)... not simple but not hard to setup either.

Yeh I agree. Logic is looking really old style thesedays. I use it, but some of its quirks really bug me and they are the same ones since ver 3....

Well, the problem is - it is a total waste of buses to use them for getting stereo rewire. You need them for send-effekts, mulitple VI output AND fpr stereo rewire.
It is not only inconvient but - my logic Gold only has a couples of them (and with Logic Silver/Audio) you are lost.

Well, logic looking old-style - I did not want to say that generally - in same aspects it is much more powerfull and modern than the other sequencers out there. But the limitation in buses and everything concerning surround is quite oldish!
But the effects are not that old (and do not look old at all compared to those of Nuendo, MIDI features also not and environment power is unique. And there is side-chain - ask Mr. Steinberg if he knows what that is!!!)
Only a shame that most Plugdevelopers just adapt to the lowest standard - VerySparelyThinking!

What a shame.
