Can't get update working.

Howz it goin me old china plates? I just want to know if you can help me, I've just purchased Live 6, I installed it and it works fine, I got the 6.0.7 update and installed that o.k but when I run the update Ableton starts up and when it gets to the serial number part I get a 'Ableton needs to close down due to an error' message
