I would like to email a live song to another live user so that he can hear all clips including recorded guitar. I'm using a pc with windows xp and Live 2. The idea is for him to be able to change up my song and possibly record a bassline on it and/or add clips to it.
thanks for the ideas

SAve self-containerd - send als file PLUS samples directory ....

im using a mac, so its a little different, but probably not much. you will first need to set up your live screen just the way you want your counterpart to recieve it ( that means clips, vst's, any recorded material ect.). then you will need to " save as self contained" ( i think under FILE or EDIT). then you will need to create a folder and throw everything in it (that means the "live" file as well as the "self contained" sound file). then you need to compress the whole sha-bang as a .zip or .sit (for mac). then attach it to yer mail and hit the send button.
saving and sending
