Intel Dual core not detected [OFF] greyed

Hi everybody !
I own Ableton Live Maudio edition (4,5,6 , because I've owned many Maudio cards and Ego Sis etc...)
In the setup/CPU the 'multi processor / dual core' 'switch field' is greyed, as if the cpu was not detected.
Can this issue be manually fixed ?
i have a intel E6400 (or E4600 ?), anyway a dual core.And I cannot activate the multi processor option.
Am I encountering a problem or is this 'greyed switch field' normal ?
