Laptop cooling fans

Anybody using one of those laptop chill pads with any success? The ones with fans look pretty flimsy, the ones that are basically giant heatsinks I'm skeptical of. Any recommendations much appreciated- gotta keep the rig cooler in hot club situations- thanks!

using a FLIMSY plastic thing with 3 fans which keeps my lappie fairly cool - even in a hot club.
It's plasticky and flimsy - but cheap.... so if it lasts another year - that's cool! then I'll dump it and get a new

tom jones has good cooling fans they always throw knickers so he can cool down

I use one of these from Antec, works really well and gives you something stable to put the laptop on:

The Antec cooler works as my ex had one. I was
checking this out last month though.
