MIDI files and live 6 help!

Use to D/L MDI files and save them as source with QT but now i'm i have an error when trying this..is there a work around to use MIDI files from the web and drop them into Live?

yea i found that too, all the files i download are corrupt in live, but a workaround i find is open them in reason and re-export them. this works

cool idea but i don't have reason (gasp) any other ideas peeps ?
