midi controller losing sync

Hi all,
I have a uc-33 and use it to play live. since i got live 6 i have had several occassions, where the link drops between the controller and live. HAs anyone had this problem with a uc33 or any other midi unit?
If so, any idea what the fix could be, as right now i have to reboot everytime, even with a re-scan it doesnt fix the link
