MIDI Sync behaviour...

I'm using MIDI Sync with Live in slave mode, an external controller is providing Stop/Start/Clock/etc. This all works fine and Live slaves very nicely...
BUT. Could you please make live not have such a hissy-fit if sync gets broken while it is playing? It doesn't know what the heck it should do after displaying a dialog box warning that sync has been lost. This is very irritating. Even restoring Sync doesn't switch it back on in Live and the app must be closed down and restarted to get things working again.
Could you change the behaviour so that it just neatly switches itself out of "EXT" mode maybe? A dialog to inform still is okay but the current behaviour after that is no use especially in a live situation where if something can go wrong it will, MIDI Sync being a prime candidate even.
