Hello there.

Im new into Ableton, but just cant figure out routing. With a lot of programs you can use a second soundcard for you pre-listening. But in Ableton, I can only select ONE single output.
Is it just not possible? I found screenshots of live 3 which shows a routing section at the sound preferences. Well I dont have that...

Is there someone who can tell me I am nto seeing here.

Welcome :)

What you aren't seeing is that with ASIO, you're limited to the drivers of one soundcard being active at a time. Unless your card's driver supports using multiple cards with the same driver (Terratec allows this with their cards, for example), you're stuck with one card's ins and outs.

Back again. Thanks for the quick answer! However...

I am using a Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS in DX (Direct X) mode. And also with other options selected, I can not select any kind of routing.
