Ableton Forum

Hello everyone, I'm moving to Chicago for three months this summer and I was wondering if there is any sort of Ableton user group there? Perhaps any sort of electronic music group that meets up and discusses different techniques and what not.

Or if there are any personal groups that meet up unofficially I'd love to meet you and learn some stuff. I know no one who is into computer music so the learning process has been slow as of yet.

We're talking about maybe having an ALDJ meetup in Chicago this summer, no dates set yet though.

well there kiddies, If ya make it open to non DJ's I am down . I also maybe able to secure some space in a large production studio in the West Loop that I work at!

I used to have access to Rhythm Cafe (a commercial recording/ production studio) but SURPRISE! it is going under due to the proliferation of home studios and great, cheap production software.

I think we already have a location set up (Smartbar or another local pub as backup), just trying to finalize the date. Unless you guys wanted to do a different meet and greet thing.

Nice. Smartbar is just down the street and my favorite club.
