live's eqs are much better than torq's, but when i route my audio through live i can't use the vinyl control (which is the whole point as far as i'm concerned)...i don't really like torq much....the layout just doesn't give enough flexibility.....i want to be able to play on turntables, but still have access to live's features as well....hell, better yet, howzabout control vinyl support for ableton, and get rid of torq altogether? if ableton could be approached from that angle i think it'd really be complete in terms of performance options....m-audio could still get their three bills for the sound card and vinyl (which are fantastic and worth every nickel), ableton could sell a gazillion copies of live7 by opening their doors to the last few people on earth that aren't using live for performance... vinyl may be dead, turntables are alive and well....live is an amazingly great way to play music, but there's something about those techs that can't be replaced. it would also be nice to have the peace of mind that comes with walking onto stage with one single, reliable, familiar program running

torq does have cooler skins though

Check out http://www.deckadance.com.

It runs as a vsti, so should allow you to use control vinyl within Live. It also supports Ms pinky vinyl I think, which is what torq vinyl is, so you should be all set. It just came out though, so it's probably a bit buggy, but who knows?

As for Ableton supporting control vinyl natively in Live, I'm not going to hold my breath.
