Making Your Own Instruction Vids For Ableton

Hello there, you look good tonight.....

How do you make your own instructional vids...?

Let me explain....when you get future music mag etc they have videos on how to do stuff in logic for example. You dont see the person just the mouse and screen in firs-person.

How does ya dee it leek?

In the recent "production masterclass" with JD73 you can see him working on the laptop, but there's another screen on the floor showing the same thing. I suspect it was being recorded by another camera and the low quality and glare of the screen closeups may back this up. I was quite surprised at how crude it was.

that's not entirely true. the technique they use is called "green screen". the guy is really there except he's dressed from head to toe in a green suit and the comp is in front of a green screen. i've done it this way, i even have the green gloves to prove it!
