mono?

ok, i am very new at this, so this is a very dumb question im sure, but whenever i record an external source into live, it is a mono signal instead of a stereo signal. why is this and how can i change it to stereo? thanks

- Do you have a stereo audio interface? If so, connect a sterio input to two input channels (left + right)
- In Live, click the little bus icon down to the right in the session window. Set up the input 1 and 2 as "Link"

click the little buss icon at the lower right corner of the live screen to bring up you ins and outs, where you can link and unlink soundcard pairs...
