Live won't restart after a crash of the program

When Live 6.07 crashes (and the same thing happened with past versions of Live) on any interface (I've had this happen with an Edirol UA25, Firebox, MOTU Traveler and now a Fireface 800), I'll then try to restart Live.
I'll double click on the icon and nothing happens.
I'll have to reboot my computer (Dell XPS 600--Win XP). This happened with past computers.
Any way of getting Live to start after a crash without having to reboot?

it's probably still running as a process.

You can hit ctrl&alt&del to call up task manager, it'll either be there as a program (unlikely) or you will have to flip the tab to 'processes' and you will most likely see it there.

you can kill the process from there, either select it and use the 'kill process' button, or right click it and use the context menu.

I think that worked. I'd like Live not to crash. I also checked in preferences to allow multiiple Lives to run. That might also have done it.
