How do I set up my keyboard or Ableton to trigger samples with out holding down the key?????

change the launch mode of the clip to trigger. you might want to change the standard setting in the preferences to this as well.

i like mine set for toggle so i can hit the same key again to turn the loop off as well

Oh crap. Where do i find that in the sampler or am i looking in the wrong place

just keep turning the release button until you can hear the whole sample.... I don't like sampler I like to use a chain of simplers or a couple of impulses because it uses or seems to use less cpu and they're just the basic functions you really need....

I will keep working with the sampler and get as much out of it as possible.
