I obviously haven't figured Live out entirely yet...

Whenever I render a track and leave a gap at the end to fade out from whatever final instrument is playing. Is there something I'm missing? please show me

Are you rendering from the Arrangement? In that case, does the time selection you make for rendering include enough silence, after all clips are finished, so that the tail of your instruments/effects have the time to 'die'?
