EastWest Symphonic Orchestra Pro XP - Stuck Notes in Kompakt

Hello, I have sen this problem mentioned on the East West & Kompakt boards as well.
Ableton 6.0.7, sometimes the notes playing in East West Symphonic Orchestra tracks get stuck. It can happen 1 of 2 ways:
- Noteoff events never get recognized by the Kompakt player during playback
- Noteoff events never get recognized by the Kompakt player at the STOP of playback ONLY
The problem is intermittent. The workaround is to mute and unmute the relevant channel in Kompakt. However, sometimes this workaround does not help, and you have to restart everything.
Of course, it makes Ableton unusable for any project using EastWest - any fixes
out there for this?
