its doing my head in as for some reason in the audio effects (even when i start off a new project) it is not giving me different options in each catagory.(for eg: there is only one beat repeat option) ive tried all sorts like re installing live but to no avail.i hope this doesnt sound too stupid............. helllp

You need to install the Packs, which you can find on the Ableton website. I don't think the program comes with any presets to speak of. That way they can update the content/presets independent of the program...
