i saw in your profile (posts) that you are looking for a tool to convert wma to wav.
actually microsoft is going a own way with this format....
i think people don't use wma for professional production, that's why nobody wrote back to you.
search in google with keywords like "(free) wma converter (forum)"
( i'm sure )there are software's that allow converting files in demo modus...
just take effort and search.
hope that's helps a bit.

if nothing else i'm pretty sure itunes will convert .wma, at least I remember it asking if you'd like to convert them when you import songs into your itunes library...
