Hi,

I just switched from RME Multiface to Fireface 400 and I get occasional audio cut outs/drop outs.

When it happens I get similar to this message into osx's console:

Jun 4 23:04:43 powerbook58 kernel[0]:
IOAudioStream[0x22ba600]::clipIfNecessary() - Error: attempting to clip to a
position more than one buffer ahead of last clip position
(24fe,9bb)->(2501,c97).

IOAudioStream[0x22ba600]::clipIfNecessary() - adjusting clipped position to
(2501,9bb)

I have searched this forum and it looks like an old bug.
I believe it's osx/core audio related, so my question is if there is
any solution ?

My config: OSX 10.4.9 (although same problem occured on 10.4.2, 10.4.6),
Powerbook G4 1.67 1gb ram, RME Fireface 400

Thanks!!
