ProTools for mixing?

I recently purchased an mbox audio interface with protools le. I'm not really a big fan of working in protools but I thought that it might prove to be good tool for mixing my ableton projects. I am still a novice to electronic music production. Are the effect plugins included with Protools better than the effects in ableton for mixing? Should I think about getting a third party plugin bundle for ableton instead of protools? Thanks.
