duplicate bug?

not sure if this is a bug or a feature. but if I:

-create a 1 bar midi loop

-and then click in some notes,

-highlight them all,

-move the start possition of the clip 1/16th in from the beginning

-cmd D 3 times

it creates perfect bar copies of the original bar (which is more desireable than the normal duplicate function which usually requires possitioning of the duplicated notes) yet moves the loop brackets to the last bar.

so then I can zoom out and loop all the bars I want and it's a fast way to make lots of copies of 1 bar loop but it seems a little weird to me that I would have to move the start possition inward to make this happen and then fix the loop brackets after the fact.

bug? or feature?

I'll add this, I actually quite like this functionality aside from the fact that it moves the loop brackets and I have to fix them it's really handy aside from that to make alot of copies of a bar

Hi,

I don't quite get the steps you gave, could you try to rephrase them? Also, I tend to understand that you're working in Arrangement view? Is it with the 6.0.8 beta, or 6.0.7?

I'm in session view. 6.0.7

take a 1 bar midi loop with some note data

select all the note data in the clip

move the clips start possition inward slightly from the beginning

duplicate the midi notes 3 or 4 times using cmd D

result: creates a bunch of identical clips of your first bar (which is good) but also moves the loop bracket to the last bar which means I have to stretch it to cover all the notes. so my point is that it shouldn't move the loop brackets.
