Problem transferring session from mac to pc.

I made a song on my mac, saved all the necesary info on my portable hard drive, tried to open it in windows. NOTHING! Keeps freezing up when when i try and load up all the samples. Anyone else encounter this?
By the way this is my first time transferring info from mac to pc.
