Hai. I bought a axiom 49 a while back and have been running it with ableton 6.03 on xp for a while. It worked well. however, when I bought my laptop with vista home premium, i have lost my ability to midi map. i can play notes, and pitch bend, and the midi activity box lights up when i move the sliders or knobs, but i cannot assign anything any more, ableton simply ignores me. why is that does anyone know? it may be because there arent vista drivers for the axiom, but then i thought if that was the case then ableton wouldnt signal the inputs up the top right.

any help would be much appreciated.

ok i fixed it, and thought id post here to show what i was doing wrong. in the midi sync tab i had remote set to off(default?) anyway, its on now and working great.
