Spectrasonic Trilogy and Atmosphere X Live 6.0.7 - Latency

Hi everyone, new guy here!

I'm a new Ableton Live 6.0.7 user, I'm coming from the Jeskola Buzz tracker (www.buzzmachines.com).
Anyway, let's head to the problem...

My Spectrasonic VSTs, Trilogy and Atmosphere, face a lot of latency on Live. All the other VSTs work perfectly.
In other programs, such as Buzz or Sony Acid, Trilogy and Atmosphere work fine.

I though it could be that I'm using my on-board soundcard, but then, I would also have this problem on other sequencers, right?

I have a Sony Vaio Intel Core 2 Duo 1.88 GHz, 2 GB RAM, on-board soundcard.

Here's a rendered loop of Trilogy playing back on Live, which clearly shows what is going on: http://www.fabiostein.net/trilogyvst@ableton607_lag.mp3
I have to say, that this is just a 4 bar loop with no automation, repeated more than once, to show how the latency keeps changing randomly...

I would be grateful if anyone could help me out here, as I'm completely lost... :(

Thanks!

Hi. did you record the part in without using quantise?
Is the actual clip looping exactly around 4 bars?
If you render the same clip with another vsti is the problem gone?

Hey there!

Hi. did you record the part in without using quantise? YES
Is the actual clip looping exactly around 4 bars? I copied and pasted the same loop over on the sequence...
If you render the same clip with another vsti is the problem gone? YES, all the other VSTs work perfect, even just replacing them over the same MIDI channel as Trilogy (or Atmosphere).

Anyway, I unistalled Live, booted my machine and re-installed: problem gone! :S

So it seems like it's a weird bug on Ableton Live when dealing with the Spectrasonic VSTs. Or maybe heavy library VSTs, since both of the plug-ins are sample based and have a 4 GB .dat file.
