I/O problem (Midi+Audio)

evening... 
just preparing for a live set tomorrow i've just reinstalled my whole system, as i thought it will stop my problem iam suffering for months now...
mainly 3 different problems but maybe connected...
I use an M-Audio FW410 (tried with older and the newest drivers also), and currently the 607 live, althought the problem i have for a couple of issues now...
1, every 1-2 minutes about once there is a small glitch (1-10ms dropout) if i record what i play... even if i dont do anything just ableton playes a tune... althought the worst is sometime, when i play a tune and start another...then it just seemed a huge glitch, and thought maybe the HDD dropout... but the same happens if i play from a Pendrive... so cant be a HDD problem...
2, if i want to use Audio input, then in 1 minute ableton freeze the audio input what i can cancel only if i go to the audio setup and enable any input or output and press ok... this change akt like a reset to the input, so it will work again well...
3, When i was using the MIDI input from the FW410, exactly the same happened... it worked well, and then after 1-2 minutes ableton just freezed the MIDI input and no more midi signal came in still i didnt go to the MIDI port preferences to turn off and back on the port... then it was working again... like it would act as a reset...
what can be the problem? is it anything with the FW410? if i dont use ableton, the Midi notes or its audio input works well , just Live loose the connection with it somehow...
some additional info... the M-Audio Control Center gets reallyreally slow reacting to anything when the above 2,3 happens...
any help would be well appreciated...
