this has been happening since live 6 came out. it takes a good ten seconds for it to crash, but if i save between the time when melodyne is removed and the time when live crashes (live is never able to 'reopen' after the crash, either, it just crashes again and again and again), the file becomes corrupt.

I only have melodyne cre8 2.6 I think - I havent actually tried it in a while, but I found it to be amazingly unstable - I used to use it standalone more like a wave editor

- to be honest the way you have to use it I dont think there's really a reason to use it any differently anyway

that's how i am using it now, it's just a pain in the ass because i have to render the music track, too, so i have a reference for the vocals. melodyne USED to work in live, with the melodyne bridge, but not since live 6.
