Ableton Forum

Hello

I am new to Ableton, I've been using my friends laptop at my house for the last two weeks, and I want to purchase Ableton because its ... incredible.

I am a music student and logically (unless my parents are successful) I do not have that much money. Now I heard from a bird that Ableton offers some SERIOUS discounts for students. My friend purchase the 'educational' version, and that is what I intend to do. However, I am worried that I will not receive the FULL Ableton Live! 6 and that I will get a watered down version.

Could someone please help my understand the difference between the full priced Ableton and the 'Educational' Version?

After I purchase it I will try my best to contribute to the forum,
