I am brand new to Ableton Live Lite 4 and am having trouble installing VST plugins. I've read about them needing to be installed in VST folders but how do I create a VST folder? Then, how do I go about installing the plugins to that folder? I've tried everything I can think if but all I have to show for it is lots of folders I have created, which either do not appear when I browse for the path, or when they do, have no effect when I try to activate them. Can anyone help me , please!! I've been trying for about 3 weeks, so far without any success whatsoever.

First: veejayar what system are you on? If you're on a mac, and an intel version you might be having the classic universal binary problem most of us mac users have experienced. Also, macs have a system folder especially for vst's and another one for audio units (the folders vst and components found in: library/audio/plugins/). All plugins work the best in there and should appear, if compatible with ableton live. As for atlas's case, you have the plugs there? I have them there and they're working fine!

But, veejayar... If you're on a pc, I'm not sure... long time no pc...
